They dont want anymore money?

I have been trying for a while to get Homelife Financial (our lender) to allow me $1700 on the loan to pay for a water filtration system. I found out today this is impossible. Being that they are not as customer focused as they should be, this was not a priority for them. Yes they had a reason, some bullshit about it not being in the contract from Renar Homes (ok then, ADD IT), but I am still pissed. On top of that, our sales person quit at Homelife, and no one bothered to call us to let us know someone else would be our loan officer. Just poor customer service.

Code Enforcement

On another front, Isa and I have been concerned with a house down the road from us that loves to leave trash/vehicles/appliances in the yard. Its lovely. I wanted to report them before the house was started for two reason. 1. To avoid them knowing it was me, and 2. if I start reporting them now, hopefully by the time the house is finished, they will get the idea. I really hope this does not become a problem for us. A lot of people hanging out front too. Its past our lot , but still close enough to be an eyesore. Anyway I called the city and someone went out the next day and cited them. He called me back and said that they've been cited 6 times before also. Doesnt sound like they get the idea.

January, hardly knew ya....

January came and went, quickly. And there was no action on the property, what a surprise. I talked to the ladies that take care of permits and they predicted now that we'll see a start in Feb/Mar. Now I would have dismissed this, but Isa and I drove by the lot the other day and it looks as if a chemical has been used to kill the brush. It would make it a lot easier since the vines and such are so stubborn while alive. We'll see.
