Upcoming projects
Dan the super called yesterday for the weekly update. The electrician is almost finished with his work (pics soon). The well will be dug very soon. And he will be grading the yard. The front and back are no where near the height they are supposed to be, so they will build it up to be ready for the sod to be laid down. The lot next to us (the corner lot) has stakes like ours had back before they cleared the lot. So I expect some action there soon.

Brinks, Surround Sound, and September
Ill be posting pics tomorrow nite, they were putting the shingles on today. They installed the front door too (windows??). A/C duct work was put in yesterday. I met with ADT over a week ago and got an estimate for a system for around $800 dollars, I really wasnt feeling that. So I called Brinks, they quoted the same thing at around $500. Still didnt like it but I said OK. The problem the salesperson said was that a lot of the housing companies wont let you put in your own systems while the house is being built. I thought no way they have to let you. I was wrong, no go. So we have to wait till after the house is built, and get a cheaper system because it costs twice as much to do it all after the walls are done. Anyway I was perturbed about that, PLUS, I had a grand scheme to install all my surround sound speakers and ethernet wires before the drywall is up, only makes sense right? No cant do that either, liablity to Renar. Now I understand all the legal mumbo jumbo, but come on, if I do it on my own free will I should be allowed to IMO.
So today we go to the Renar office to sign off on a change I made (location of coax in the family room) and I ask the girl an estimated time of completion. She typed in the computer and it gave an estimation of end of Sept. Wowee! That rocks.....
